Each year, the Church celebrates the season of Advent by setting aside four Sundays, all of which call us to deeper reflection on what it means to recognize the coming of Christ into our lives.  In particular, the Gospel passages on which we are invited to reflect each Sunday were chosen because they reveal different aspects of the Advent tradition:  love, joy, peace, and hope.  They also remind us to prepare for and to anticipate the incarnation of God within every experience and within every part of Creation.

We invite you to not only read and reflect on this year's weekly Gospel readings, but to pray with them as well, allowing the Word to be written on your heart.
